Professional Biography

Dr. Gonzalez, a licensed psychologist, received her doctorate in clinical psychology 
in 2003 from the University of North Texas.  She is also dually trained as a Licensed 
Specialist in School Psychology in the state of Texas and has held that license since 
2000.  Her internship year was completed at the Child and Family Guidance Centers in 
Dallas, Texas.  Since that time, Dr. Gonzalez has practiced in public school and 
community mental health settings.  

Dr. Gonzalez specializes in the assessment and treatment of depression, anxiety, 
autism-spectrum disorders, child/adolescent behavioral difficulties, parenting 
challenges, and relationship issues.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, 
couples, families, and adults, collaborating with them to find solutions for the 
challenges they face.
