Professional Biography

Dr. Cooper is a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Purdue. He has a special interest in depression, phobias, pain management, stress management, and smoking cessation. He is also interested in treating adults and couples with anxiety, depression, alcohol and drug abuse, and communication problems. Before going into private practice, Dr. Cooper was Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in the Department of Psychiatry. He is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Cooper is co-author of The Complete Relapse Prevention Skills Program.
